How We Started

From a market booth to a Carlisle institution.

In 1992, Better View was one stand at the Carlisle Farmers’ Market, run by people who believed a window or door is only as good as the install behind it.

That idea caught on. As word spread across Cumberland County, we outgrew the market, and in 2003 we opened our showroom on N. Hanover Street, where homeowners can still come in, see the products in person, and talk to the same people who’ll be doing the work.

Today, Better View is family-owned and locally operated, with a crew that has spent decades installing windows, doors, and outdoor living spaces across Central PA, one home at a time.
